What is Remarketing?
Remarketing, also known as retargeting, is a way to advertise to people who have previously visited your site or used one of your apps. Many times, when a potential customer visits your site, they don’t buy something—contrary to what you’d hope.
Maybe they decide they’ll come back after payday or will ask for it as a gift. This is great, but oftentimes, customers forget. Remarketing allows you to show your ads to people who have previously visited your website, so you can give them a friendly reminder that they had visited and most likely liked what they saw on your site.
How Does Remarketing Work?
Remarketing can successfully help your company by keeping it in your customers’ minds, meaning whenever they think about whatever service or product your business offers, they’ll think of your company first. From completing a sale to reminding potential customers that your company is there and ready to help, remarketing is a great tool to grow your business.
Using AdWords, we can create different campaigns that will get your ads in front of audiences across the Google Network, which includes sites and apps that allow Google to place your ads on them. We can also make specific remarketing lists to narrow down who you want to target. For example, if someone visited your website, put something in their online shopping cart, but didn’t go through with the purchase, we can target them specifically. Or we can be broader and simply target people who have just visited your site.
