Customers spend a lot of money to have their vehicles wrapped. Helping them maintain the appearance and increase the longevity of the wrap can be done with a simple care and maintenance instruction sheet.

The care and maintenance guideline should go beyond just recommendations of regular hand washing and the avoidance of abrasive chemicals and brushes. Additional information on power washing, waxing and when it’s best to bring it back in for a professional go-over, should also be covered.

Usually one of the first post-wrap questions I get is, “Can I take it through the car wash?” The short answer is “yes,” but they probably shouldn’t. Hand washing is a much better choice.

In addition to regular washings by the customer, I also recommend that the customer simply keeps an eye on their wrap—especially the first few days and weeks. Wrap maintenance starts with proper installation, but due to weather conditions or wrap installation obstacles on the vehicle there may be some bubbles or lifting that occurs within the first week or so.

This is the best time to catch these small problems—before they become big issues. If the customer does experience any issues, have them bring the vehicle by for a quick go-over. Add additional heat to any bubbles, removing them and following up with a good post-heat.

If graphics are lifting, be sure to trim them and apply an edge sealer. If they have already become dirty, take the time and effort to replace any failing sections. You want the customer to be happy long-term.

Be sure customers are aware of warranties on the graphics, typically three years on cast vinyl graphics and one year on perforated window films. Reviewing these when the vehicle is initially wrapped will help ease confusion in years to come.

One thing we hate – OK, two things we hate – about replacing a mobile are, a) having to buy all new accessories for it that didn’t come with it, like a car charger, skins and a case; and b) having to install all of our contacts onto the new phone. So we tend to avoid upgrades unless absolutely necessary. Which is why we totally identify with these 10 signs that you need a new mobile:

Can’t Find Parts/Accessories – When retailers stop supporting a model, you know it’s time to get a new one. Even the carrier that sold you the phone no longer keeps them is stock. That’s a definite sign.
Range – If you are capable of throwing your cell phone further than its signal range, you might want to think about moving up a notch or two. It may just be an issue with your mobile service, but you’ll still likely need a new phone if you switch providers.
Battery Won’t Charge – If you’ve had the phone so long that the battery no longer takes or holds a charge, you’ve gotten your money’s worth out of that thing. Chances are the cost of a replacement battery won’t be a whole lot less than the charge to upgrade phones with a contract.
Not App-Capable – Smart phones are so-called because of their versatility, the range of functions they can be configured to do. Phone apps are necessary in order to have any of that functionality. Without the ability to download apps, your phone is just a phone.
A Phone By Any Other Name – Your mobile provider has changed names three times, and/or has since merged with yet another provider since you bought your current phone. Yes, we’re talking about you, SunTel, BellSouth Mobility, Cingular, Nextel people.
Contacts – We agree that it’s a hassle loading all of those people onto a new phone, if you haven’t got them on a SIM card. But seriously, dude, you’ve still got the phone-in number for Dr. Ruth’s radio show on speed dial. Order up already.
Telescoping Antenna – This is the equivalent of rabbit ears on your TV. Modern phones have fixed, usually internal, antennae and have moved away from those flimsy, easily broken dinosaurs.
Monochrome Display – Without a doubt, a phone that predates color displays is due for a replacement. You may be interested to know that many of your friends are actually watching TV on their phones; and no, we aren’t talking about reruns of The Honeymooners.
Phones On The Half-Shell – Flip phones, AKA clam shell phones, are generally older models, with small displays and limited features. Providers still offer these phones, but usually provide refurbished models as entry level phones.
Promotions – Mobile providers are constantly offering new phones at discounted prices. Chances are you’ll see a late model smart phone available at a price comparable to what you paid for that brick in your pocket 5 years ago.

If you’re looking for just a website in El Paso, TX made by just anyone, you will have no problems finding one, and made for cheap at that. But if you’re looking for quality web design with a customized approach based on your needs and what you are looking for, you can stop looking now. Web design not only consists of the actual design and layout of the website based on the clients’ needs, but also includes the Search Engine Optimization that is built in from the very beginning. Companies want to be found when people search for their products or services on the internet. This is how they generate new business, along with word-of-mouth.

Web design is a complicated task. You have to take what the client asks for and transform it into what their vision is although you might not share that vision. So, your client in El Paso, TX buys a web design package. This should include from the very beginning, design concept, building the website, incorporating all of their information, adding in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), making sure their website is fully functional and practical, and making sure they are aware of Online Reputation Management (ORM). That’s why it’s called a package, it involves more than the actual website.

The initial design and layout is just the beginning. Many times the vision gets lost in translation, therefore time is also lost. A good web designer can take the bare minimum offered to them and make it blossom into something the client never imagined. This is where a Web Design company excels. We have a lot of experience with web design and knowing what our clients want without them actually telling us every little detail. You can’t find this expertise everywhere you go. Integrated also are the Social Media Websites like Facebook and Twitter, and implementing blogs. Blogs are important these days and a lot more important than most think. A website is supposed to be informative and helpful to the consumers looking around.

Call us today at AGI Marketing in El Paso, TX to see what we can offer you with a custom web design package. Call (915) 590-7420 or email the President himself, Jim Singelyn, at jim@agims.com

What is SEO (Search Engine Optimization) you ask? Well, to sum it up, it’s when your website is created in a way that the search engines can read its information easily and understand what it is all about. The most understood websites will show up in the top of the results pages. Search engines like Google, Yahoo, and Bing are the major search engines used today, and all 3 have different “rules”. The search engines strive to get the results the person searching is looking for in El Paso, TX.

Why is Search Engine Optimization important? You want your company to be found by potential customers when they are searching the internet. Say you are a plumber with a family business in El Paso, TX that has been around for years. You have a website, but you’re looking to increase business and you don’t know how. You search for your company using a general term “plumbing El Paso, TX”. What do you find? Not your company!!! It’s not even close to being at the top. This is a problem for you because someone who doesn’t know you or hasn’t been referred to you won’t find you. Most people look on the first couple pages and start researching. If they find what they are looking for, they stop, and you’re left behind.

So, how do I optimize my website?

You can search for ways to do so, and you can also hire a company to do it for you. Most likely, if you don’t know how to run the back end of the website, you are going to have to pay someone. At AGI Marketing Solutions, we offer this service as part of our website packages because we believe it is a necessity, not an option you should just add on. So, maybe you were in the market for a new website? Why not just start over with us, and have SEO from the very beginning. Of course, those who make promises that they can land you in the top of the results guaranteed, are lying. There are many factors that contribute to who comes up first.

Now that you have an understanding of Search Engine Optimization, what are you going to do about it? Contact us today at AGI Marketing Solutions in El Paso, TX at 915-590-7420 or contact the President himself, Jim Singelyn, at jim@agims.com

A certain blog enthusiast read the blog on Online Reputation Management in El Paso, TX, and decided to share her information her company also recently published:

10 Ways to Protect Your Company’s Online Reputation
The goodwill your business generates isn’t confined to a brick & mortar approach. Every online activity that you engage in will reflect on your business. There are some differences, of course, in how the cyber-world operates apart from the “real” world. Speed of communication and the incredibly wide audience available make it imperative that a company be well aware of its internet presence. The New York Times has as much of an obligation to get the facts straight in its online edition as it does for the issues that hit the newsstands, for failure will ultimately lead to business decline.

Below are a few items any commercial concern will do well to bear in mind on a daily basis.

Google Placement – There are games-within-games regarding “placement” in Google-type searches, and the “rules” change frequently. Search for your own company from time-to-time to check whether your business is getting the right exposure.
Promotion – “Don’t hide your light under a bushel basket” is how an old saying goes. Advertisement, however it is accomplished, is a vital component of commerce. Remember, however, that you need to be able to back up any claims you make, or you will lose goodwill and business.
Testimonials – Testimonials can be in the form of quotes to be read on your business site or you can be a bit more creative, and use a Youtube video. If your product or service is easy to demonstrate, a clear online video can enhance your company’s credibility.
Social Networks – Most people are already familiar with Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, and these networks all place highly in Google rankings. That means if you use these sites you will get the word out about yourself or your business, so you’d best be sure that the word is good.
Word-Of-Mouth – Remember that everybody you contact online while you represent your business is likely to speak of the experience to other people away from the office or computer.
Resume – As a form of advertising as well as a form of validation, it is important to a company to present itself in the best possible lighting, and a good resume can accomplish both ideals. If you have superlative credentials make sure they are available to your clientèle.
Vigilance – There may be someone with malicious intent personally attacking you online, and sometimes the best technique to minimize damage is to ignore the negative entry while simultaneously burying it amidst a bevy of positive releases.
Vigilance – If sensitive personal and financial information is entrusted to you then there is a great responsibility to protect consumers from “run-of-the-mill” online attacks, identity thefts and data piracy.
The Office Party – What happens at the office needs to stay at the office, so companies need to be careful about the things they post online. One employee’s off-color joke or risqué photo is a potential firing or lawsuit just waiting to happen.
Make Corrections – If a negative news item or blog feature about your business is published, and the piece contains errors, it is worth contacting the author, who is likely to make corrections if necessary. Bloggers and journalists also have reputations to maintain.
All the rules of courtesy, etiquette and ethics that apply in the “real” business world apply to online commerce as well.

This not only goes for all the businesses in El Paso, TX but everywhere else as well.

So, our thanks goes out to Colleen Torres of phonetvinternet.com!!! Thank you for sharing this wonderful article:

Some business owners in El Paso, TX may not be aware that they have the power to help protect their reputation. This is a relatively new concept, and you might as well use it to your advantage!

Here’s an example:

Your business is ABC Company in El Paso, TX which is a well known family style restaurant. An angry customer writes a review based on an experience she had with a rude staff member (wait staff). Instead of asking to speak with a Manager on Duty (maybe she didn’t have time) she decides she will let the rest of El Paso, TX know about her horrible visit. So, she looks up ABC Company El Paso, TX and finds the Google Place Page. She then writes her review, outlining every detail no matter how small that added to her experience. She gives your restaurant 1 star and tells everyone there is terrible food, long wait times, and worst of all, terrible service! No prospective customer will read this and decide they should try it out.

Now, here’s where your power comes into play. You respond back to this angry customer. Keep in mind that even though you are responding to her, you are also trying to appeal to future customers and you shouldn’t “attack” her. Keep a calm tone, and remember you are trying to get her to come back, while at the same time, assure prospective customers this will not happen to them.

The best way to respond is:
- Be prepared to own the mistake or problem. (Take responsibility)
- Be prepared to offer a solution.
- Be prepared to offer an incentive/discount for future use so they will give you a second
chance.
- Tell the customer to ask for you or the Manager on Duty when she visits again to ensure she had a better experience.
- Make sure your staff is aware of the situation, so when she visits and then asks to see the
Manager on Duty, they know what is going on, and aren’t missing information, making her
feel insignificant.

Giving a discount for future use is nothing compared to losing her business and the business of others who may have read her horrible review. Her review has the potential to cause major damage to your company’s reputation.

After her visit, if you did not speak to her, you may want to follow up with her so she knows how much you value her business. This way, you have a chance to ask personally if she would go back to the Google Place Page, and update her review. It’s been done before. This will show future customers that you would value their business as well.

Today in El Paso, TX, as the Marketing and Advertising world transforms, we learn more and more about how to make our websites and the internet work for us. Sometimes, though, without our knowledge, they can be working against us. This is very dangerous since people rely on the internet so heavily for information.

Online Reputation Management (ORM) is the practice of monitoring the reputation of an individual, brand or business on the internet. The intent is to suppress negative reviews or to push them lower on the search engine results pages (SERPs) to decrease their visibility to potential clients. This involves tracking what is being said about clients and using strategic techniques to promote positive reviews.

When a potential customer searches for a product, and ABC Company comes up, they most likely will research that company before using them. So, when they search for ABC Company in El Paso, TX, and they see a lot of negative reviews, it has already set in their mind that this is not who they want to do business with. Imagine ABC Company is your company, and a customer of yours posted something negative about your company, and went and told his/her friends to do the same. Now you have a big problem on your hands and you are not even aware of the situation. You don’t want potential customers to be turned away because of one dissatisfied customer. Think about it, haven’t you seen bad reviews about a company before? What did you do? Well, if you are like most other consumers, you skipped right over them and went on to the next.

This is where ORM comes into play. This service is used to make this horrible reality a thing of the past, and give your business a chance to fight back by showing what it has to offer and that there are plenty of customers who are happy with your products and/or services. Your reputation is crucial to your company and needs to be kept in check.
